What Determines the Class of the Build

I just receive all my parts for my first build and just came upon a question. I was curious as to what determines if the gaming rig is mid or high?

i5 3750k (currently i3 2120)
Asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3
XFX Black Edition HD 7970
Seagate Barracuda 1TB, 7,200 RPM, 64 Cache, SATA 6Gb/s
Crucial M4 128GB
Sony RW Optical Drive
Corsair Vengeance 8GB, 9-9-9-24, 1600MHz
Corsair AX850
Corsair 500R

Is this a mid?

no it's a high end build.enough to max out any game at 1080p.so it's high end IMO.not ultimate.but still better than mine ...............

I guess the class of the gaming rig is determine pretty much by its GPU. So, if I ever decide to cross-fire then it would pretty much be an ultra gaming rig I assume. I also assume that the future Ivy i3 3750k will be the best for gaming.

^+1 on what you said.7970 CFX will destroy any game at high resolutions and will do fine with eyefinity too.
