Need advice on workstation for architectural visualization 2500-3000$

Budget Range: 2500 - 3000 $

System Usage from Most to Least Important: 3ds Max Architectural Visualization - CPU Rendering - GPU Rendering

Parts Not Required: Keyboard - Mouse - Monitor - Speakers

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: not specified

Country: Dubai

Parts Preferences: I'm open to suggestions .. I prefer speed & quality

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Don't know which is better ..

Monitor Resolution: 23" wide

Additional Comments: I would like a well cooled machine and fast and stable ..

For your work i recommend a six core cpu 3930k , 32GB RAM a 256GB SSD and a video card with a lot of memory Nvidia 580 3GB.

I thought the NV quattro would be much better than GeForce GTX regarding power and stability ..

hi op
quadro are the way to and only consider high end which is 2000 and up

sosofm rig is good just change some parts

the case just change it to carbide 600t white edition

and change mobo to x79ws for more stability and longitvity and also has ready support for quadrdo and tesla

change it and u are good to go have a nice build :)

mmmmm ... so what abt the processor ? which is better .. the i7 or the xeon ?

xeon as well as i7
but a 1 processor and ur case a i7
i7 can easily oc and are much cheaper and xeon are designed to work 24x7 at load and are underclock so that they live longer and they bost large catche
