Is it possible to build and OC a $1000 system to run this?(Video)

Is it possible to build a $1000 computer and overclock it enough to run this "tech demo" without any hiccups with the same settings? Someone told me it needed a core i7 6 core with 16gb ddr3 ram and 3 GTX 580s to run this at all and he says a $1000 computer would never run this. I find this completely unbelievable. My GT 430 and Athlon x2 3Ghz can run the Unreal Engine 3 tech demo(Last gens) perfectly in max settings, yes I've ran it, 720p also.

So can anyone build a $1000 computer and OC it so that it could run that?

Hi, welcome to the forums.

Is this a theoretical question, or are you actually planning on building a machine exclusively for running this tech demo?

Either way, I think an i5-2500k and a pair of GTX 560 Ti 448s or so should be able to max it. I can't find that much information so I'm just assuming.

Oh, yes this is theoretically speaking. I should have mentioned that.
