Help finding bottleneck of my system

i have a core i3 2120 with a P8H77 le v and 8gb of ram, upgraded from a core 2 duo.
nvidia gtx 460
corsair gs 600w

for some reason my computer feels slower that when i had my core 2 duo e6750 installed
please help me

sorry man but it is probably your cpu the i3-2120 is weak for that killer graphics card try the i5-2500k. What is the sped of your i3

, i run an i3-2120 with an hd 7850 and its perfectly fine.

i mean toms last 500$ build uses a sandy celeron chip along with a gtx 560, and it worked fine as well

Indeed, the i3 is a more than adequate match for the GTX 460, the I5 is a better match for the 560ti

ya i did all that reasearch before i bought. was gonna go with gtx 550ti but 460 performs much better. i ran saints row 3 on high with my core 2 duo build so i know thats not a problem. but thanx

any other ideas

The i3-2120 acquits itself very well in these tests uding a GTX480:

that is absolutely false, the 13 is much better then the old core duo chip

I beg to differ there are systems perfectly balanced. i.e. i7 extreme cpus and 7980 in crossfire x.
