Hi all, Ive currently got an XFX ATI Radeon HD 5850 and was thinking of getting another of the same but, there not all that easy to find and selling for around £150.

I then found a XFX ATI Radeon 6770 HD 850MHz 1GB PCI-Express HDMI for £75 new, I was thinking of getting 1 or maybe 2 of these to crossfire.

Any difference in the cards or any point in getting the 6770 over my current card ?

Cheers

according to the following chart, the 5850 is (it really is) more powerful than the 6770. 2x 6770s will get more performance but they're more prone to microstuttering. amd's 6950 and higher cards suffer much less from microstuttering in cfx mode.

keep the 5850. upgrade to one of the new soon-to-be-released 7000 series cards when they come out starting from january next year. single card performance looks promising from tom's preview article. crossfiring those should get you hopefully even better performance than 5850s in cfx.
