Last response: in Graphics & Displays

Hi, I'm running an Asus P8P67 motherboard with a HIS 4670 graphics card...I want to setup crossfire but the cards I have don't have the bridge connector and on the GPU box it says "software crossfire" well I have both cards plugged in and the computer recognizes the cards, But I can't enable Crossfire In my catalyst control center....So is there something I'm doing wrong or what

As far as I know, you have to use a crossfire bridge to use the cards together. I'd recommend ordering one online if you don't have one handy (can find them on ebay etc for a few dollars or you can try to call the company that makes your card and have them ship you one).

This is the second rig i've built....this computer stuff was my christmas this year, and I had no idea the cards I picked out didn't have the bridge connectors.

Which version of the p8p67? i believe some of them don't support cf or sli.

When I ordered the board from newegg, it says it's crossfire capable. Hell, it tells you how to set up crossfire in the manual, but just for the cards that have the bridge connectors
