Approximate Purchase Date: Next week

Budget Range: ~$550-625, if I absolutely need more money I guess I can wait a while, but I want to build ASAP

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Guild Wars 2 :sol:  , other not as cool games, internet, Microsoft Office

Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg, Best Buy :kaola:

Country: USA

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU, HAF 912

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I can get the HAF 912 from Best Buy for $51 and just pick it up in-store without paying shipping. My biggest question is with:
1. Motherboard, I might upgrade to Ivy Bridge sometime so would it be best to get a really good mobo now or wait since I don't need it?
2. Wireless Adapter, I need a wireless adapter, I don't know where to even begin with looking for one
3. HDD, what brand is the best value atm, when will the prices go back to normal?
4. PSU, I can't find a cheap PSU at all, all the cheap ones have bad reviews, I plan on replacing it when I upgrade next anyway

Check out my $650 build

Slightly above budget but it gives you solid performance (i5 2400 and 6870)

1. No you don't need a good MB now, most boards will support Ivy, it's just a matter if the company decides to BIOS update for it.
2. Just look up some cheap wifi adapters on Newegg or Best Buy, Best Buy tends to rip people off with pricing though.
3. If you wait, next year at the soonest. Any brand should do with prices being this high, generally, Samsung, Seagate, WD, or Hitachi is solid. Choose the cheapest one of those and make sure the HDD spins at 7200 RPM.
4. Check out my build guide.
