All drivers up-to-date.

I have RA2 installed but have to alt tab out and back in again to see any buttons. If I want to go to the internet on RA2 I have to click where I know the button is, alt tab out, go back into RA2 and it will appear. Almost like I need to refresh the screen by alt tab'ing out. If only F5 worked and I wouldn't be too bothered.

Help appreciated.

Have you patched the game yet?

I play RA2 on my laptop as its not beefy enough to handle new games. It has Win7 as well, but 32bit. I have no issues playing the game. I know my RA2 installs as 1.0, and I remember they had patches for it up to 1.07? Try checking EA's website (shutters...) for a patch that will help RA2 with win7.

Remember that games are made with desktop units in mind. Lappys can be hit or miss.

Do any other games have this issue? What patch is RA2 up to now?

If you don't mind the thread hijack, xwis? I've only ever played RA2 over lan, which I know can't be done anymore because Vista/Win7 doesn't support IPX. How do you play it over net?

I don't think you understand how much I love you right now. I've just bought the first decade so I can play these games again. I kept my XP around after installing win7 so that I could load LAN games of RA2 or CNC2. But if I can do this without having to reboot into XP, then THANK YOU!

Ok, back to the normal thread... It's either a bug with the program or Nvidia's drivers. Not sure there is anything you can do....
