How to connect cooler master 650W to asus P8Z68-V pro mobo

I connected the 20+4pin into the 24pin of the mobo.
I have a 8pin connector avialable on my mobo,.. and a 4+4 connector and also a 6+2 connector on my PSU.
1.Should i connect something into the 8pin on my mobo or what i have done is ryt????
2.which pin should i connect to my radeon hd 6870 gpu??
