Could someone tell me if this monitor will work with the older Intel motherboard and if I can use Full HD HDMI http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236117

Thanks for any info on this.

Well do you have a graphics card besides just the motherboard built in graphics? Second what motherboard do you have with what processor. The monitor will work but depending on use you may have to upgrade other things too (only if you game).

It will work for sure just depends on what you want to connect it with. I doubt it will have HDMI so you'll have to connect it with either VGA or DVI.

I don't have a graphics card on this computer. I'm in the process of buying parts for new build with 3570K and ASUS P8Z77-V LK board.

This monitor is the first piece and want to use it while I get the other parts..will be a few months.

As I stated it will work and since you don't want to run games with your current setup it will work just fine for you. Just don't be scarred when you first connect it, the monitor may have a black bar around the edges (about an inch all around) this happened with mine (different ASUS monitor same resolution same size) I just had to update my drivers for the graphics. But that was when it was a brand new build, I doubt you'll have that issue.
