Greetings fellow PC enthusiasts. A couple years back, I leeched off the collective genius of this forum's PC gurus and built my first computer. Looks, pretty good from what I see.

You can save some money by cutting down on smaller hard drive. Storage is really expensive right now, I don't think you will need anything more than 500gb. Also I would also get a cheaper PSU, you shouldn't need anymore than 600watts, I have a similar build with a 500watts psu and it works fine.

Thx for the suggestion. My current build has a 1TB internal and a 2TB external drive, both of which are almost full. They hold 1000's of backups of labratory results, so I'd like to keep the as much memory as I can.

And as for the PSU, I can downgrade to a 600w, but I plan on SLI'ing in the future, so it's just a precautionary measure. If two 560ti's would work with a 600w, I'll do that. Thanks!

Do you have any suggestions on a decent case with USB 3.0?

Stick with the 750w for SLI futureproofing.

A nice modular substitute for around the same price, a nice $15 promo card that'd give you a nice discount plus a rebate that's pretty good. The best part is modular which comes in handy for cable management.

Save on the HDD

Only $100 for a 1TB.

A nice sub for the case.

Many reviews say that this PSU is very loud, although I do like the modular design. My last PSU wasn't modular, and I just buried the extra cords in the bottom out of the way.

Thanks everyone for your advice and suggestions...It's been very helpful...

I just pulled the trigger and was right at the $1000 mark with some extra 140mm fans...

Ended up getting this PSU from Azn's advice on a modular design.

I'll update when the build is complete with pics! Thanks again all!
