This is my first adventure into building computers! I'm a 2D concept artist in the entertainment field (video games principally) who is trying to expand my skills to include 3D and design and my laptop won't cut it. I need a machine that is as economically priced as possible, includes enough power to get me through two years with only minor upgrades. No bells, no whistles, only utilitarian power and functionality. $1300 is my ceiling for cost including dual screens, lower is better. I have a lot of open box prices on here, what do you think of those? Generally things like this I've done in the past for other things and the items have been fine, are computers different?
