AMD Radeon 6850 vs nividia 560 ti

Right now I have a his 6850 oc'd to 850mhz would it be worth the upgrade to a nvidia 560 ti or it wont be much of a difference I play battlefield 3 on a 24 in monitor at 1080p

what are the rest of your system specs? If you have a slow cpu it isnt going to matter what video card you put in you might be cpu bottlenecked. But yes, if the rest of your system is up to spec, the 560ti would be a noticeable upgrade from a 6850. It also draws more power and you may need a PSU upgrade.

Yes I have an AMD phennom II 1090T oc'd to 3.6 ghz and a corsair cx600 psu with 8gbs of ram.

do you have a crossfire board you could just buy another 6850 and smash that 560 ti

I have a biostar A870U3 which has a x16 and x4 I would also have to upgrade my powersupply and mobo. I have enough for a 570 ti do you think its worth it over the 560ti and will I see a big difference in performance from the 6850?

i think to be a noticeable upgrade from a 6850 he has to go with gtx 570 or 6970 hd or add another 6850..
