Hd 6870 cfx vs 6970

This is from before the HD6970 came out but the HD6970 is very similar in performance to the GTX 480 to give you an idea how they compare;

yes it is faster but amd has some shitty crossfire drivers. Half the time you will have to play without crossfire. I have 2 6870's in cross fire and they are a little bit faster than a gtx 580 so it is much faster than a single 6970
