So i just put together my first build and it was all going good until i started playing games and my video in and out of games would start to freeze up or lag for a quick second every few seconds. So when moving my mouse it would freeze up then start moving again not teleporting to were the mouse should be but from the spot it froze in so i cant see that it would be the video card But im not sure. Its not all the time its like 5 minutes of choppy mouse, then 5 minutes of smooth computing Here are the specs of my build

i5-2400 @ 3.1 GHz (Stock Speed)
8gb of DDR3 1600
500gb 7200rpm HD
GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3H-B3
GIGABYTE GTX 550 TI
EDIT: Forgot to mention a 750 watt PSU

This is a fresh install of windows 7 home premium.

If you need any other information please ask im willing to do anything to fix this.

Are you using a cpu stock cooler? and what is the core temps while you are playing the games? that including the Video card temps. The brand name of the PSU?

No I added a aftermarket one from Zalman, let me go play some games for 5 minutes and get the temps and the psu brand is an Antec True Power Trio.
