Help old comp bios

I have an old gateway nmz 300s but system info says E-2000. I would like to see if i could update my bios.. And also i have a dell with the same D845grg board could i use its bios A22 witch i have on a cd?

If the motherboard is the exact same, yes you can use the CD for both.

If you aren't sure, I would just go on the DELL website and type in your serial number and see if it has a higher BIOS listed and if so you can download it from there.
