I5 2500 build

i have a dell inspiron 530 q6600.i wanted to build a new system and transfer some of my stuff from the dell over to the new build.i wanted to build something not so crazy better and some what up to date.

I already have a corsair 450w psu that i had installed in my dell 2 months ago
i also want to transfer my video which is GeForce 9800 GT


I need some opinions on this build. i will using the computer for the internet and multitasking burning dvds and some video editing.thanks in advance for any info

If you don't buy the 2500K version, buy i5 2400.The build looks good.

Some video editing is rather unclear. What NLE will you be using for the editing, what is the source material in terms of codec, etc?

im not sure what program i will be using this new to me . i konw i will convert alot of my recordings from a digital camcorder to a better format so i edit it and burn copies.

If you don't buy the 2500K version, buy i5 2400.The build looks good.

why a i5 2400.isnt the 2500 faster.i dont what the k because im not going to overclock it.but micro center where i live has the 2500k for 179.00.would it be smart to get it for the price even if i wasnt overclocking it.
