Compatibility of Graphic card

Hello everyone,
I have been looking to upgrade for a while from my ATI Radeon 5670 1GB. I was looking at a Radeon 6970, I was wondering if this would work.

Intel core i7 930 @ 2.80 GHz
4GB of ram (Upgrading soon)
Windows 7 64 bit.

PS : I bought my computer premade and I know no clue what the power supply is. guessing 500w +

Main part of what you need to know for upgrading, case size and power supply you left out.

If the case will fit the card, and you have a 450 or up power supply, you can run the 6970.

I have the default Alienware Aurora ALX case. will it fit?

Alienware computer will fit that card fine, and your power supply should be fine for the card also.
