Dell Optiplex 745 - Help finding a card.

I have the second one, "Desktop".

I'd like to know what is the best card I can put into this system, as well as a mid-range option. Is a card with 1 GB okay? I believe it also has to be low profile and that limits my options. I know this machine is not a "gaming rig", but I would like the option to play some older games or newer ones at lower settings. I'm not too concerned with maxing everything out.

a gts 450 is pretty mid range, and will do well

also a gts 250, but that might be too big, if you find a small version of it then use it

the Optiplex 745 desktop will easily take a HD 5670 512mb GDDR5 low profile card
they are getting a little hard to find
also a good option and easy to find is the HD 6570 DDR3 1gb

I use the HD 5670 and the HD 6570 is similar in performance

that is Crysis 2 DX9 1920x1080 Hardcore on my Opti 745

I also play Metro 2033 at 1920x1080 high setting DX10
