Help with resolution

Hi I use 1218 x 712 for my tv (Sony Bravia) for gaming I have all setting in ultra on most games I was wondering does a game look much better if I run on much higher resolution compared to
My resulotion even tho I am running ultra with te lower one

play with 1080p and you will see the difference.

It depends...

If your TV is 27-32 inches, probably not unless you are sitting right up on it. If you have a 55 incher like me, then most definitely. I have a 26" 1080p LCD panel on my desktop and I sit 18 inches from it so I can tell a difference, but from across the room, not so much.

Depends on what you mean by "better". It will be a bit sharper and you can fit more on the screen, but since you already have all the options up, it won't look "better" really. More like different.
