I know there is already a post similar to this but that was for gaming.
I am going to build a PC for video and photo editing, also for 3D work using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D and I cant decide which of these two orocessors would be better for what I want to do (3930 is more money but 6 cores) and is it worth the extra money?
The 3930 gets a OC cinebench score of over 13 ! Which is INSANE (3770 gets just under 10)
But the 3770 isnt exactly a slouch and does better at single core stuff.
The rest of the specs are:
32GB RAM
Asus GTX 570
64GB SSD
1TB HDD
Gaming isnt of particular interest to me ( i prefer consoles as my friends all have it so the communications are better for me)
So basically would the 3930 take enough off the rendering times to warrant the extra £200 (mobo is more expensive but it does have 8 RAM slots)
Thanks for your help
