Comments about NEC LCD1760?

I will probably buy this LCD monitor, but I still have some doubts. I almost bought the Samsung 172t but I also want to play games with it.

Anyway, although Tom's hardware rate it as one of the best,

PC WORLD ranks it in 5th - gray-scale bars seemed to blend together rather than appearing as distinct shaded segments(Samsung 172t is first)

PC Magazine hated it: they say it performed poorly on DisplayMate sets, it has performance issues: trouble displaying subtle shades and "couldn't keep its pixels still during tests" whatever that means.

and Anandtech has reviewed the Hitachi CML174 (which has the same LCD panel) and they still say that the 172t has much better colors.

Does anyone that has it have any comments on those issues?
