How do I know if the voltage has been changed?

Hey guys,

I just saw an AD on craigslist for an GTX 590, seems to be in good condition and everything.

But I read in another website that if you change the voltage of the card, you void the warranty.
How can I check (before buying) if the voltage on the card has been changed before?

And also, what are good stress tests for the card? Nothing overnight please, just a 10~15 min thing that I can check if it's working 100% as it should!
