I have in the past been able to connect via remote desktop. But recently, even though I do connect to VPN, I cannot log on to Remote Desktop. I know it is not my computer because I can log on to my neighbors wireless and connect immediately. I have had the internet provider look at it, have tried a new router and nothing seems to work.
I got into my router settings and unblocked the "Block Anonymous Internet Requests", but this did not help the problem,.
Am I doing the correct thing? There is a tab for Firewall & for VPN.
I misdescribed this didn't I? Block what you unblocked because you don't want anonymus requests from teh internet but you do wish to aallow them from your Intranet. Look in the Firewall settings - there must be something in there.
