So I just finished setting up my new computer yesterday and everything seems to work except for this little problem while navigating windows. I'm running Windows 7 64. Whenever I'm running aero my screen will go black then come back on with a message that the display driver has stopped responding and has recovered, and it does this very frequently, enough to make my computer unusable. It doesn't do it while I'm playing battlefield 3 even when aero is enabled but outside of it it is bad. I disabled aero and it doesn't happen at all. I installed drivers for my GPU (HD 7950) and the VGA driver for my mobo. Should I install the other drivers from their website? Any thoughts on this will be greatly appreciated.

I have similar problems (only happens when playing BF3 though) and the problems seem to be fixed when I installed the newest drivers. I recommend you install ALL drivers and see what happens.

you're not the only one man, i too have the same problem, this usually happens on some game, League of Legend and Gotham city impostors. it did happen a few times on other game such as Deus ex, and MW3, but it's very rare. I also have all the newest drive but it's still the same. btw Mine GPU is Gigabyte HD 7950
