Hi,

I have the following setup and I just wanted to know if the temperatures are as-expected for this configuration.

Intel i5 3570K (Stock)
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus (1 Fan)
Antec P280 (2 Top fans, 1 Rear)

I ran a Prime95 Blend test for one hour and these are the results according to RealTemp and HW Monitor:

Real Temp 3.70
Core 0, 1, 2, 3 : 48, 52, 50, 53 - Minimum
Core 0, 1, 2, 3 : 62, 67, 63, 66 - Maximum
Core 0, 1, 2, 3 : 62, 57, 61, 58 - Average

HW Monitor
Package Temp: Core 0, 1, 2, 3: 60, 28, 67

Thanks very much for your advice/feedback.

Near 70 is something to worry about.

How are your fans setup, such as which ones are intake and outtake?

The two top fans I believe are exhaust fans, and the one rear is also exhaust. That is, they are blowing outwards.

The Heatsink fan is blowing towards the heatsink itself, which is then blowing towards the rear fan. During the Prime95 test, the case was running cool, from what I could feel.

My question is should I worry, or is everything OK?

Your temps are alittle high for having an aftermarket cooler. What's the ambient temperature? You should really have a fan somewhere in the front of the case venting air into the case.

Really? The ambient temperature? Hmm, I would say it's about 22C in the room itself.

Could it be that the heatsink was not properly installed? Ugh! I'm not comfortable with doing that myself.
