SLI graphics cables for 30 inch monitor

My XPS 720 has SLI 8800GTX nVidia cards so what cable do I need to connect to a 27 inch or 30 inch monitor to get the maximum native resolution of 2562x1440 or 2560x1600 since the output from my PC's cards are two DVI connections? My guess is a single cable with two DVI connections at the PC end and a single DVI connection at the monitor end but I am not sure that is correct. According to nVidia, my SLI 8800GTX cards will support these higher resolutions?

That can't be right for SLI with two DVI outputs for the best resolutions?
