ma current specs:
windows 7 ultimate x64
motherboard asus M5A78L LE
cpu AMD FX™-4100 quadcore processor
ram 4096mbytes DDR3 667mhz
graphic card 9500 GT nvidia
chieftec PSU GPS-450AA-101A

and i want to buy a new graphic card sapphire radeon hd 6870 1gb will the power supply be good or ma h/y go boom? :p

Well your PSU is a 450 watt PSU. Your CPU is using 95W (non-OCd), RAM, Mobo and such should only pull about 50W I think. The GPU you have runs at about 50W and the 6870 runs at about 150W. I would think you would be ok but you might be cutting it close. Using Neweggs PSU calculator:

You should get right around 430W. eXtreme Power Supply Calculator lists the wattage at ~400W so you should be fine, but it could be close.

its indeed close but got low budget atm and cant afford a new PSU too so i think i ll stick with it thx mate for your quick response
