Making a gaming beast. Please leave a suggestion?

Hi. I just bought this piece-of-***-out-of-the-box-computer. From Costco, premade by HP and I hate it due to $900 and integrated + bad AMD APU 3800...

I HATE IT. So, I'm taking it back. Gonna get about $900 for it. (returning it) With that I will be building my own much better desktop. If your reading this mi madre y papa, sorry but the computer REALLY, REALLY is garbage and the fellow tech heads will agree. (My comp is at the bottom of the forum.)

This must be no more then $1100 and none less then $900. I am 14, and this might be a little hard to prove and show these little fiends A.K.A. my parents that I know what about that which I am talking of. :P I have been at work researching and the following form is what I would love nothing more then for you guys to give a cheap/efficient suggestion on ANY hardware in the form I am thinking of. Thanks! (The video card MUST!! be a GTX 560/Radeon 6850 and up.)

Form. (My thoughts)

Monitor: http://www.compuvest.com/Desc.jsp?iid=1721736 $220.

Mobo (motherboard): http://www.bing.com/shopping/asus-p7p55d-e-lx-desktop-motherboard-intel-p55-express-chipset/p/0BA0F74E186D481D5005?q=motherboard+ddr3+sdram&lpcid=4534&lpf=0&lpfs_fs21982=1480126554&lpq=motherboard%2bddr3%2bsdram&lps=ra&lpt=motherboards&FORM=EGCA&lppc=16

Processor: http://www.bing.com/shopping/intel-core-i7-2700k-3-5-ghz-processor/p/335ACD77FAFDFE080001?q=intel+i7+2700k&lpf=0&lpq=intel%2bi7%2b2700k&lps=pa&FORM=EGCA&lppc=16 (I AM REALLY STRONG ON GETTING THIS PROCESSOR!)

RAM: 12GB ram, two 6GB ram sticks. This is official unless you can really convince me.

Video card: 6950 or GTX 580. NOT the 6970 (read the very bottom why.)

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341048&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-RSSDailyDeals-_-na-_-na&AID=10521304&PID=4176827&SID=1lktbn35x48jg

1TB HDD, 7200rpm.

DVD drive: RW+,-, DL. Any will do really...

Wireless LAN card: http://www.amazon.com/Airlink101-AWLH6075-Wireless-N-PCI-Adapter/dp/B002U22S1A

Case: I couldn't find it... it was something like "r400" and I guess that siezes to exist. Nothing fancy really, just a good, heat resourceful case.

Sorry if this offends and just totaly enrages most of you, but there is no way in HELL I am paying $200 for some crappy OS. I am, sorry, pirating a Win 7 64bit OS (Ultimate probably.)

My computer as of right now:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03043596&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=5157018
Now I know one of you are going to say "Your spoiled, your computer is amazing!" Well yes, if I was planning on playing MARIO maybe. Come on, please admit how dreadful it is as a gamer, to have <20fps in a 2008 game. (MW2)

Did I miss ANYTHING? Let me know if anything you see is mis-typed, represented, etc. I will be doing this trade/build this weekend.

More about making gaming beast leave suggestion
  1. 2600K
    ASUS P8Z68 PRO
    Corsair 16GB
    Crucial M4
    Hyper 212 Evo
    CM Storm Trooper
    WD Blue

    Total: $1,054.92

If you already have a monitor, use it and save money.
The 2600K has a better price to performance ratio than the 2700K and it is basically identical when OCed.
The mobo you linked doesn't support Sandy.
Put all your OS/games/programs on the SSD and watch those loading screens disappear.

Wow!! I will most likely be going w/ most of this, any way you could think of cutting down? Sorry, thank you so much, the only thing I see faulty ATM is 500GB HDD, I'd like 1TB, and A graphics card. There is none, or am I blind? P.S. I will unfortunotely have to pass on the case, I just want to save $$$ :( I know I'm basically giving you my homework and asking if you can do it, yet would you be able to recommend another, cheap as possible case? Will upgrade later, probably in 2 months maybe? The 1TB HDD I'm most likely getting is: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148697

    I thought you were going with a 6950, that's why I didn't include it.
Rosewill CHALLENGER U3 fit your budget?
The 2500K performs exactly the same as the 2600K when OCed so I guess you could cut on that.
The G. Skill 8GB will do you fine.
I highly, highly recommend you get the real version of Windows 7
560 Ti is my recommendation. I prefer GeForce and I can't find any 6950s in stock on Newegg.

    That's about it!

I was 14 when I built my first PC! Ah the memories :)
  4. Check my sig as well. You could be rocking a HD7950 for $900.
  5. Hi e56imfg! If you don't mind, I "edited" your links you gave me and found either the same or a, hopefully = part. Take a look?

CM Storm Trooper: I was maybe wondering if you could find me a case, just not $200? I could care less about the design. As long as if fits :P

Thanks so much man. I'm trying to save my parents $$$ so any cutdowns, even $5 will make a difference to me. Thanks so much man.

If you're going that cheap on the mobo, you might as well get the ASRock Z68 Extreme3
    The 400r meet your needs?
  7. I'll stick w/ your original mobo UNLESS is there any difference really? Oh and I'm going w/ this case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119233&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-RSSDailyDeals-_-na-_-na&AID=10521304&PID=4176827&SID=x6xttcnvz4mk
