Which is better His HD 6670 1GB DDR5 or Sapphire HD 6670 1GB DDR3 ?

More about : sapphire

December 29, 2011 3:26:15 AM

I trust sapphire more but the ddr5 is definitely worth it
December 29, 2011 3:27:21 AM

HIS DDR5 is better because it has DDR5 in it.

: how much difference in fps between ddr3 and ddr5
December 29, 2011 3:33:41 AM

Maybe about 5 (I don't know either, this is an opinion).
December 29, 2011 3:35:56 AM

I'd go with the his
December 29, 2011 3:45:02 AM

i heared sapphire drivers are best in class than his
December 29, 2011 3:45:46 AM

the drivers are going to come from AMD
December 29, 2011 3:57:42 AM

No, Drivers doesn't come from neither HIS nor Sapphire. It's from amd.com. So drivers will be the same.

difference of 5 fps worth it or brand worth it,i think 5fps will not have any issue in gaming what you think ?
December 29, 2011 4:08:59 AM

Worth it to get DDR5 1GB more than brand name.
December 29, 2011 4:18:18 AM

The DDR5 will make a big difference at higher resolutions or when Anti-Aliasing is turned on.
December 29, 2011 4:29:18 AM

i think image quality in game would be more satisfying in good brand though its
only ddr3
December 29, 2011 4:32:14 AM

image quality can't be different when its the same card from different brands
December 29, 2011 4:38:27 AM

It's the same my friend... Image quality won't be different in different brands. It won't be more satisfying in sapphire... -_-
December 29, 2011 4:50:01 AM

i think there is difference between image quality between ati and nvidia

i mean feeling of realism in games
December 29, 2011 5:21:03 AM

is hd 6670 good for me i want to play future games at good performance and quality

with descent resolution
December 29, 2011 5:23:36 AM

the image quality between amd and nvidia is minimal and you won't be able to tell while playing. and those aren't brands, they are the card designers. They design their chip and ship them to the branded suppliers which equip them with heatsinks and then they are sold.

the quality between the brands is based on reliability and customer service.

the card is going to be quite on the low end for future games, you'd probably want more if you plan on playing future games are decent performance.

all depends on your budget to buy a new card. also needs to make sure your cpu won't bottleneck and your psu can handle it.
December 29, 2011 5:29:35 AM

i know my intex 450w psu can handle maximum only upto hd 6670

i dont have budget for my psu

my cpu is e5700 i dont want to upgrade anything till 1 year

can you suggest me maximum ati gpu that intex 450w can handle being stable

during load ?

December 29, 2011 5:38:17 AM

I'd say you can get a 6770 and enjoy a bit more performance than the 6670 and you don't have to worry about your cpu.
December 29, 2011 5:51:25 AM

Better upgrade PSU first I think, because PSU is the part that you will not change for a long time...

Don't order people around, maybe try to ask nicely and maybe, just maybe someone will respond.

vishal, for the second time, a radeon hd 6670 with 1 gb gddr5 will run on your system as long as your psu can continuously supply the needed amps.
gddr5 is much faster than ddr3, gddr4, gddr3. means better performance.
your +12v amps are borderline, so a 6770 will be risky. you could end up damaging your system. the risk is yours.
the experts have already told you these. i might just be repeating. :)

Please calm down, please note that I am not always in tom's. I have other stuff than checking tom's. Don't be mad...

You want a 6750, because it's more safe to run it than 6770.
December 29, 2011 10:05:44 AM

as expert have said hd 6670 or hd 6750

then which would be safe on my system
December 29, 2011 10:10:11 AM

The safest thing to do is get a new PSU my friend... There is lots of PSU that cost below 3000 rupees.

Wow, you are so rude!

If you want people to help you, perhaps you should consider using a more polite tone.
