System Usage from Most to Least Important: Moderate Gaming (WoW, Left 4 Dead 2, MW3), Photo Editing, Web Surfing.

Parts Not Required: CPU/cooler, Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor, Speakers, Hard Drive, Cables, Fans

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: All parts from Newegg please.

Country: United States

Parts Preferences: I have an AMD Athlon II X2 240 that will be going into this so an AMD board is required, IDE connection on the motherboard will also be needed.

Monitor Resolution: 1024x768 (Might upgrade to a larger monitor, max resolution would be 1440x900.)

Additional Comments: Small case, he wants a Micro ATX Mini Tower for where it will be placed. I was handed 175 in cash and that is all I have to work with. I cover the shipping for all builds I make. More about extreme budget build
  1. If you can work with a rebate then I would highly recommend grabbing:
    Corsair CX430 $49.99 ( before $20 MIR and, $8 CC )
Total comes to about $20 - while it's not perfect and it does require the MIR it would be lightyears ahead of that other PSU.

Go for a 2x2GB kit from either kingston or gskill, 5 bucks more ~$22-23, but still within reason.
  2. g.skill 2x2gb 1333 mhz

well at first i mistook your title for a extreme gaming build so i thought about lga 2011 but well my bad.

like i said above try to stick with 1300mhz g.skill 2x2gb ram it's good and make sure for 1.5v if not try patriot or the amd ram.

actually i'm building a low tier system, looking around for 2nd hand parts here and there, got these nvidia geforce fx5200 gpu for 5$ and still works great, was thinking of making a really cheap system for web browsing and microsoft excel using 2nd hand stuff i can find that's still working great,

but anyways on to your side, i do agree about the corsair psu that rvilkman said go get that one
