What's up guys. I currently have a ATI HD4890 and I'm looking to update my PC want to find a good replacement GPU to play some of today's more advanced Direct X 11 games. So, what would you suggest that would give me better performance than what I currently have. I've read a lot of reviews, but it seems that they just tend to confuse me instead of educate me. I know that AMD is releasing there new line in Q1 2012, but will that include the average Joe models, or just the highends?

I don't really mind spending a little more $$ if it's needed, but I would really like to keep close to $200.

Here's a couple that I am considering...

GTX560ti require 170w and 6950 require 200w. For low power consumption 560ti is good.

But if you wait for 7xxx series that would be great. I hear 7000 series draw less power than 6000 series and it will be 28nm tech. So why not try 4890 for few days and then grab a 7000 series card. If i were you, i will wait.

the TI used more power.

The TI is slightly slower but if you OC they are both arround the same, just depends on the games benchmarks you want to check.

Will AMD be releasing there $200 ranged cards in Q1 too, or will it just be the HD7990? Because I don't mind waiting for one if it will be in the first quarter since my HD4890 still performs pretty well for the time being.

FYI...I'll only be using a single monitor for gaming

the idle and loaded power usage is higher on the Ti as you can see in the graph. ever since fermi, nvidia has draw a lot more power for the same performance as amd.
