Hello....Shopping for a new GPU can be so confusing. I keep looking at 560ti's but not quite sure I want to dish out that much. What are my options on a price per performance basis around and under that target price range?

Here are my specs

Core 2 Quad 6600
EVGA 750i FTW SLI MOBO
4 GB DDR2
PNY GTX 260 Core 216
700W Power Supply - OCZGXS700

My native monitor res is 1600x900....I also use a 1440x900 monitor I use for slinging webpages over on or keeping outlook up while gaming.

My goal here is also to run some modern games BF3 for example on High Settings with some eye candy turned up.

Thanks everyone!

Solution
An HD6870 is significantly cheaper and should handle 1600x900 very well.
Overclocking that Q6600 is a good idea if you haven't done so already.

Thank you for the reply!

The Q6600 is running stock atm. Whats your take on overclocking on the stock heat sink? I have the later edition of the Q6600 that supposedly yields much better results than the original.

I've never tried to OC a C2Q on the stock cooler but I know it can handle a dual core up to around 3.5ghz. If I had to estimate I wouldn't try over 3ghz without replacing the cooler on a Q6600 but just keep an eye on the temps and try it for yourself.
