A good graphics card better than nvidia gts 450 with vga port

i have nvidia gt 220. and am wishing to buy gts 450 1GB..!! it coast around 7000-8000. is there any good cards with comparatively more performance in this rate"(7-9) i have i52400 3.1 ghz 4 core And 4GB ram so ply anybody suggest a good graphics card within that rate with both VGA and dvi port...!!! thanks in advance pls....

We tend to deal with UK and US Currency here - many of us are only familiar with those two currencies - could you elaborate on the currency you are using?

radeon hd 5770/6770 with 1 gb gddr5 vram - depends on how many amps you have on your psu's +12v rail.
with a little more budget and a good 500+ w psu with enough amps on the +12v rail - a radeon hd 6850 (will probably cost 8000-9000+ rupees, check with your local shop/shopping website).
edit: i am assuming that the currency is in rupees. please specify
- what currency it is,
- what you full specs, max budget are,
- what you intend to do with your pc (gaming, casual use, office, rendering etc.).

The GTS 450 is similar in performance to the HD5750/6750/4850 and the GTS 250. Cards very often come with a DVI to VGA adapter and they work fine so you don't really need a VGA port to use a VGA monitor.

Newegg says it will come with an adapter from DVI to VGA, and as far as I know this card is the fastest on your budget. Also you can ask the store if they will give you the adapter just to make sure. Check if you have at least a decent 380W PSU with one 6-pin PCIE connector from the PSU and you also make sure that your system is fully compatible, (just list us the specification your system or computer have and we will see if it's fine or not if you don't know).

the converter does not affect performance.

as for your budget, you should be able to get a 6790 or 6850 near the top of your budget and these will be the best cards at that price range.

i m also from india in mumbai but the gts 450 doesnt cost that much it is costing about rs 5000 - 6000 bro you should go to the hardware shop and buy a hd 6850 gddr5 version about rs7000 tell me ur from which city so i can help you if ur from mumbai just and buy graphics card from lemington road the price there is very good and enough for you dont waste money from buying on online shop and dont look at the price in the websites it with show you 25% more of the orignal rate.
