Do you intend to upgrade that monitor? A 6850 should be able to max pretty much all games at that resolution. You will be saving quite a bit if you cannibalize that current build. Using the Hard Drive, and DVD drive will save you about $100 alone.

I'll most likely upgrade the monitor in the upcoming months. Forgot to mention that the HDD and GPU are pretty much faulty. The PSU's questionable as well. I can definitely harvest the DVD drive. I'll update the OP.

Oh. XD

The Hard Drive alone sets you back around $80 for a 500GB these days.

First of all, check your local Microcenter to see what their CPU MB combos are priced at. I'd go for an Intel CPU. If you can't afford a 2500K consider a I3-2120(not overclockable) You want a socket 1155 MB compatible with Intel Sandy Bridge CPU's. Get that cost determined to know what you have left for the rest of the build.

I think I'll pull the trigger on this one, unless anyone else has any other suggestions? Reviews look solid to me.
