I am not very good with all the technical aspects of computers, so I am completely in the dark on this. I would like to know if my computer will play Skyrim and how well it would play. I am mainly concerned about the graphics card and if THAT would end up hindering the game.

Networking:

Hard drive:
750 GB

CD/DVD disc drive:
DVD+/-R/RW 16X 12X +/-DL LS 12X RAM SuperMulti SATA drive

Memory Card Reader:

Well you do technically make minimum requirements, but I wouldn't expect much from that GPU. Maybe it will be playable at lower settings, 720p or something, have you tried any other fairly modern games?

You should be able to get a $50-$80 GPU replacement to do the job if you wanted to.

I have not played any higher end games on it. I have played games like City of Heroes, but I doubt they compare.
So, I will probably end up getting a new GPU. Are their any specific ones that you would recommend? And if so, how would I replace the old one with it?

Yes, you must definitely upgrade your GPU.

But I recommend you also change your MoBo. A G43 chipset is a tad outdated these days.

What resoultion so you play in and what is your budget ( for just GPU or GPU+Mobo) ?

And will you be overclocking yuor processor and GPU ?
