I am looking for a 750w psu for $100. It would be awesome if it was modular but not a must have.

*80 PLUS GOLD Certified (90% power efficiency)
*fully modular (the HX series is only partial modular)
*made by Seasonic

so let me get this straight, you quote the OP's budget and then link a PSU that costs 70% over his budget? :pfff:

I wouldn't touch anything with the name Fatal1ty on it.

that's your opinion. now let's take the opinion of one of the leading PSU reviewers who has been reviewing PSU for years with top of the line equipment rather then just opinion.

OCZ Fatal1ty 750 W is a nice option if you want to buy a decent 750 W power supply with modular cabling system at an affordable price. It competes directly with 750 W models from Seventeam like ST-750ZAF (with modular cabling system) and ST-750PAF (without modular cabling system) and it has as advantages lower ripple/noise level, higher efficiency and better voltage regulation. In summary, OCZ Fatal1ty 750 W is probably the power supply on this power range with the best cost/benefit ratio on the market today.

I think the Antec hcg 750 is a great bang for the buck. Plenty of power, it looks good, and Antec is known for quality PSU's.
