Just installed a new GTX 580 superclocked. I can only get a very light crackling to come through my headphones and my speakers. When running a game that has sound in the background its a light humming. Updated drivers but no fix yet, any ideas?

Have you updated the sound drivers , are you using onboard sound? Can you uninstall the sound chip and then reinstall it ? Can you uninstasll the video card and then reinstall it. You know it has something to do with the drivers of either device.

Does your frame rates in any way jerks off while playing.
Might be an issue with the sound drivers .Which one do you have installed?

The drivers are all updated was the first thing I did, I am installing some beta drivers with the card to see if that fixes it. Also I am using onboard sound
