External power is not needed , but its a good idea to upgrade your power supply anyways as your wattage is very low if you are to upgrade in the future.

Yesss!

It has 44A on the +12V rail which is 528W, and will even support to 6950 2GB!
It's a good psu and would be really good for 6670.
