Posted a week or two ago about a $1500 gaming build. Just hit the "Purchase" button on my new system.

Used For: Gaming

Resolution: 1920x1080 for now. Hopefully upgrading sometime soon.

Came out to about $1750 including the keyboard and mouse.

Case: Corsair Carbide 500R White

CPU: i5 2500k

Cooler: CoolerMaster 212 EVO

MOBO: ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3

GPU: XFX Double D 7950

Memory: G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2x4GB)

HDD: Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s

SSD: Samsung 830 128GB

PSU: Corsair TX750 V2

Keyboard: Microsoft Sidewinder X4

Mouse: Logitech G9x

Optical: Sony Optaric 24x DVD Burner

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

Went a little above budget, but I'm thinking it was worth it. Want a computer that will be top of the class for a little while. Just wanted to get thoughts on my final choice for components.

I will post pics when the build is done, next weekend.

Thanks

I think your build is a good one, just 1 thing.
I have the board and it is running without a problem and is with 2600K OC'd to 4.5GHz 24/7.

I think it deserves better PSU and 1 is on sale.

So is the PSU something I should really consider replacing? Or is it just a preference of gold over bronze? Like I said, these items are already purchased, so it would be a bit of extra money to swap them out.

Oh, never mind that than : ))

If purchased, it is fine. It was just a better option for a little extra money.

U are good : ) I missed that u have it already.

Decent build. All good.
