I decided to replace my ~5 year old beast with a decent gaming machine, here are my thoughts about the components:

Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-Z68P-DS3
Processor INTEL Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz 1155 BOX
Memory KINGSTON 8192MB HyperX XMP T1 DDR3 1600MHz CL9 KIT KHX1600C9D3T1K2/8GX
Videocard GIGABYTE GV-N560OC-1GI GTX560Ti 1GB GDDR5 PCIE
HDD SEAGATE 1000GB Barracuda 7200.12 7200rpm 32MB SATA3 ST1000DM003
PSU CHIEFTEC CTG-500-80P 500W BOX

I want to run games like BF3, Skyrim, Mass Effect 3, GTA IV, Serious Sam 3 etc in Full HD with high details. This will be enough, right? Or should i replace the vga to a hd6950? Does it worth 10 extra bucks?

6950 and 560 ti are very close in performance

RAM needs to be 1.5 volt or less

Your power supply is a turkey . Expect it to catch fire and melt lots of other good things when it goes .
GET A QUALITY BRONZE RATED PSU

i dont say you dont have a point, i know this isnt the best psu out there, but i ran a psu calculator and it says my recommended min psu wattage is 370 watt. So if i backup my pc with this 500w turkey, i think it will be enough.

@hellfire:

My budget is about 900$ and i dont need anything else, just the things i mentioned before.

The numbers printed on the psu sometimes mean nothing at all

its not about plain watts but also about how many 12v rails amps efficency

if u buy no brand psu to save few bucks then that will cost u ur whole system as psu not only takes itself but also ur system down

get a psu from seasonic, corsair, xfx, antec, ocz with 80+ bronse certification and also reduce electricity bill.

As for graphic card if u want to play bf3 in ultra settings then a 6950 is the way to go
also 6950 can be unlocked to 6970 and oc to get performance of 580(man this is the fourth time explaning about graphic card and 5 times for psu)

i dont have timd to provide the link as very busy shedule :D

other than that ur pc is gonna rock mate:)

The 6950 is a bit better than a 560 Ti on average. You might just want to get the cheaper one of the two. If you're concerned most about value for money, an AMD HD 6870 compares quite well to a 560 Ti for a cheaper price.
