Can I use this fan?

Hi guyz,
I found this in my home and its awsome in terms of airflow and quiet too! But due to Molex connections on PSU, I modified according to PSU settings now tell me that can I run this on my PSU?

Fans Specs:
220-240v 0.14A
5 Delta Fins

This is how i connected to two wires of fans with molex, will it work?

No!,
use either the red or yellow wire, not both, with one of the black ones, the way you have it right now is wrong and dangerous,
yellow is 12v, red is 5v and the two black ones are ground wires,

12v will give a faster speed and be slightly noisier, 5v will go slower and quieter

Yeah you will ruin your PSU pretty quickly if you run it like that. And if you don't have a good PSU you could ruin more.

One wire goes from fan to yellow wire, another wire goes from fan to ground (black wire). If you think that it is too loud or spinning too fast then change the yellow wire to the red wire.

You do not have to use all of the wires on the molex connector for your fan to work.

Ok Ok thank god not connected yet!

OkOk got it now, no issue of noise....just need speed so yellow and black?

Yup, that will run the fan at full speed, if you want it quieter/slower swap the yellow wire for the red :)
