CPU Temperature

Hey guys, just got my PC and was wondering what you think of my idle CPU temp.


Core i7 2600k @ 3:40Ghz
Corsair H100 CPU Cooler (both radiator fans changed to; Noctua NF-P12 Vortex-Control 120mm Quiet Case Fan)
Cooler Master HAF X
Current weather outside is 31°c

Idle CPU temperature in a room without A/C is; 33-38°c


What do you guys think?

Your cpu runs fine up to 72c, according to our resident Intel rep chris. You're fine.

Yip, that's absolutely fine, now Prime95 that sucker and see how HOT it gets, that's the real test.

Yup, that's normal idle temp. It's the full load temp that's important.
