The parts on my PC is dying whats wrong

First the DVD/RW drive then the mouse and keyboard then the hard drive. I had a virus once could that do it?

I cannot comment on the virus as I have never had one so I have not studied up.

However, your symptoms indicate an issue with the +5 volt portion of the system. This could be due to a failing motherboard, or power supply.
