Low Profile?

Hi guys. Someone suggested me to go with this one for GPU upgrade http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102958 because its a low profile video card and I only have 300 PSU, thats what they said. I thought low profile cards are about your CPU Size? So LP cards are for low PSU as well? I don't get it. Do i really need a LP Video Card?

Can someone explain me more about this Low Profile thing?

Please do not confuse with the case and CPU. The CPU is an other word/abbreviation for a Central Processing unit or just basically the processor. The intel and AMD stuff...
I think what you say about a ''CPU'' Is the case, the case/cabinet/chassis/casing is where your hardwares are put in. To know if you can put a long card there (not low profile) measure the tabs of the pci cards on your case. If it's around 10cm, then you should be able to put the long/normal card there, but if it's not then you should go with a low profile graphic card. Low profile graphic card should be around 6cm in width...

I tried to measure it and its around 10-11cm. So PSU does not matter on picking LP or standard GPU?

It's absolutely fine my friend... Go with the XFX. I have put a non low profile card on my OEM system.
