Hi All,

Does anybody have idea how much power does my unit consumes per hour?

AMD A6 3500
Asus F1A55-M LX Plus A55 VSL/ddr3
4GB Kingston 1333 SODIMM ddr3
500gb WDigital Green 64mb Sata3
18.5 Samsung LS19A100 LED

I am actually trying to find out how much KW/Hr is drawn by my unit so that I could
compute my electricity consumption.

My AVR is rated at 500W but I am not sure if this is the correct way of checking my power consumption?

If I play games with this, do you think my power consumption would reached 500 watts?

Anyone knows the ballpark figure?

Thanks

Hi neliel123,

Have you tried any of the PSU Calculators available on the internet? They give a general idea about how much Total Power your system will draw.

Here is ASUS's PSU Calculator---

Some searches on the net show an A6 3500 system in the 80-90W range on CPU+GPU stressing, 30-40W in idle. Add to that maybe 30-50W for the monitor and you have your rough estimate between 60 to 140W.
