Core i7 965 vs Core i7 970

Hey guys,

I was looking up the hierarchy of Intel CPU's in terms of power and came across this chart.

My question is about the grey box, at the very top.
It has the Core i7 965 placed higher than the Core i7 970.

Is that just a typo, did the author mean to type in 975 ?
Or is the 965 more powerful than the 970 ?

It's probably written like that because the 965 was an Extreme Edition CPU, so it's been listed with the other Extreme Edition chips.

For gaming there's probably not much in it despite the 970 having 6 cores. Both would be uneccessary for any gaming system these days with Sandy and Ivy Bridge released.

Thanks thecodfather, that makes sense, i looked up if there was a 965 extreme edition and there is.
