Want suggestion for GPU

Hello, I have C2D 2.93 GHz CPU with 2 GB DDR3 runs in I-Ball 400W SMPS. Now I am planing to add GPU for gaming. I have a budget of 5k for that. So tell me which GPU i can get with good gaming performance ATI or Geforce. And also tell me for if the GPU needs much power, so which SMPS you will prefer for that with in 1K.

upgrade your psu first. set aside a budget for a psu and get a good 80+ rated or higher, with active pfc, with lots of amps on +12v rails, 500+ w psu.
what are your full specs?
and 5k of what currency? INR?

A 5670 would be ~5k INR

you cant really do too much with that amount of money. if you can get about 8000 INR you can probably get a AMD 6850 unless prices are much higher there.

Actually Rs. 5K is in Indian currency. First tell me for Psu. How much watt I need for good GPU and which PSU will be great for service. Then prefer me a good GPU with in 115$..

antec earthewatts 380watt + radeon hd 5770/6770. if you can't afford the 5770/6770, then radeon hd 6670 1 gb gddr5. gts 450 is better then the 6670 in terms of raw performance but worse than the 5770/6770.

I am from India and not $5k its USD $100. Geforce GT440/GTS450 or ATI6670/6770 is in my budget. I have 400watt PSU, is it support Geforce gts450 or ATI6770? Geforce gt440 or ATI6670 will perform well in 400watt PSU. But I have no idea about that gts450 or ATI6770 power consumption in heavy load. Please suggest me the best.

Which brand PSU? If it's decent brand like corsair, antec, seasonic, etc it will run 6770 nice. But if it is crap you won't really run 6770.

In my opinion get 6770 and new PSU or safe money by getting only 6670.

I have Intel C2D 2.93, Intel DG41WV, 2x2GB DDR3(1333), 2 HDD(160+250) Sata, DVD R/W. The total amount of power consumption is (65+20+6+20+20) 131Watt to 150 watt.

I-Ball? Never heard of them, If you don't want to change your PSU get 6670.

iball is not good. get a good psu from xfx, corsair, seasonic or antec. antec neo eco, earthwatts, corsair builder series have some good psus. get one from them.
with your current psu, even a 6670 might cause problem on load.
edit: and nothing from low end coolermaster psus.

Ya I have already told you that The PSU Brand name is "I-Ball". And I have it's 400watt PSU.

Which of those GPUs have GDDR5 memory? Thats the one you want to buy.
