Add another old graphics card in crossfire or get one newer card?

I have a system I built 4 years ago, with an IP35 motherboard and a AMD/ATI X1950PRO graphics card.

I have just started playing Skyrim, and am looking for a boost in performance.

Originally I figured I would just add another ATI X1950PRO card to the second slot and do the crossfire thing.

But is this my best bet? Another of these cards will probably cost me around $70. I don't want to spend much more than about $130, if the price/performance benifit merits it.

Other info that might be needed: I run two monitors, one 21" in my office, but mainly use my 56" big screen over HDMI at 1280x720. They do both need to run at the same time.

Computer is:
Case: Antec 900
Motherboard: ABIT IP35 pro
Processor: Intel Core2 Duo E6750
Graphics card: ATI x1950 pro
Power supply: Corsair hx520
Hard Drive: 2x 500gb WD Caviar in a RAID 1 array
RAM: 2gb CPU
cooler: Artic cooling Freezer

Get a new card and if you are wanting to play Skyrim it loves a fast CPU so OC that thang.

Thanks guys,

I got a 6870 and 4 more gigs of ram. Should keep me running for a couple more years before my next system build...

Appreciate the input :)
