Hi everybody,

I'm getting myself the HD7970 soon, which is a pretty High-End Device :D
I'm currently on an Asus Z77 Motherboard, 8GB of RAM
and I'm using an Intel i5-3550 QuadCore @3.3GHz
I usually play Games like Battlefield 3, Skyrim, GTA4,...
Now my question is:

Will my i5-3550@3.3GHz bottleneck my new HD7970?

And if yes, how much and would I even notice it?

Looking forward to your answers
RocknTr0ll :)

It shouldn't bottleneck it at all.

So I'll be able to achieve results like you would achieve them with an 4x4.5GHz (or something like that).
I mean in general, who gives a f*ck about 5 fps? :D

You wouldn't notice a "bottleneck" at all with those 2 paired together.

Only if you started using canned benchmarks you might be able to tell the difference.
